Roy Lee Williams, born August 14, 1980 in Redwood City, California, is a professional football player for the NFL. He is currently on the Cincinnati Bengals, but was initially drafted by the Dallas Cowboys as the eighth overall pick in the 2002 NFL Draft. Before his successful NFL career he had a prolific career at the University of Oklahoma. Roy Williams was the starting Safety on the undefeated 2000 National Championship team. During that year, he set a school record for tackles for a loss by a defensive back with 12. In 2001, he won the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, recognizing him as the nation’s top overall defensive player, and also won the Jim Thorpe Award as the nation’s top defensive back.I found some more information here.
